How the People of Port Richmond Created America

As a grantee of the Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation, we used our "Pay It Forward" gift from Joe Dai to treat the Port Richmond community to free hot dogs in air conditioned fellowship on a hot, hot afternoon, and to regale them with stories of how their predecessors created America. Joshua Mersereau answered George Washington's call and became one of the Founding Fathers of American Intelligence, Issac Ledyard waged a Pamphlet War with Alexander Hamilton, Rev. Peter Van Pelt comforted the dying Aaron Burr.

A fun afternoon of community pride. We can't wait to do it again!
