For three hours a steady stream of 65+ seniors dropped by our Teale Space to meet one-on-one with City agencies who had brought their offices to the people. Visitors could apply on the spot for property tax relief or a senior rent freeze.
The event was sponsored by New York State Senator Diane J. Savino. We were happy to answer questions about the space and regale the seniors with tales of our colorful history while they waited.
