Historic Port Richmond's first project was thrust upon us -- a leak in the roof of the Church at the rear of the sanctuary that seemed to grow by the raindrop. As the photo at top right shows, a similar leak showed up over one hundred years ago.
Our community stepped forward and donated funds for emergency repair of the leak. We will be replacing the entire roof in years to come.
The organ you see in the photo at top right was destroyed by a fire in 1929. Only the small keyboard console, bottom center, survived. The organ pipes were relocated to the front of the sanctuary with a new console as seen in the photo at the bottom.
